WA AGILITY - DOG OF THE YEAR AWARDS
The annual WA Agility Dog of the Year Awards night came about following unsuccessful attempts by the Working Party to get support from DogsWest to recognise that the sport of agility has progressed to a more even playing field, and as such a Top Dog should be recognised in each of the five heights. Undoubtedly our past Top Dog recipients have been the best performing dogs in Agility in WA for that year but to ignore the fact that there are four other heights competing is to fail to recognise that a little dog should no longer have to compete against a big dog on any level. The Awards nights main purpose is to remedy this and thanks to many generous sponsors and individual donations the Agility Working Party is able to present a number of awards to recognise some of the years top agility accomplishments.
The awards on offer are outlined below. |
